A Seat in Soho

A Seat in Soho is an immersive exhibition that shines a light on a handful of the two and half thousand residents of the famous London disctrict. Supported by Arts Council England, theatre designer and artist Stella Cecil and creative producer Tiphaine Tailleux created a community living room in a shop front on Ganton Street in the heart of Soho where visitors can sit back and listen to audio portraits of eight of Soho’s longstanding residents.

I was asked to record and produce three portraits with Margaret Bloomer, Mark Powell and Debs, all of whom I had great fun working with to tell their stories of life in Soho and beyond.

I also worked with Tiphaine and Stella as an executive producer to help shape and give feedback to the audio producers of the other five portraits for the exhibtion.

The show ran from 27th May to 5th June 2022 at 8 Ganton Street.
