The Empathy Museum: Choose Love x A Mile in My Shoes

The Empathy Museum collaborated with Help Refugees to create 15 new stories for the Choose Love x A Mile in My Shoes exhibition.

I felt priviledged to produce a story with Rose. She came to the UK from the Ivory Coast as a teenager and today finds her love for cooking has brought her into the heart of her community as a chef with the Welcome Kitchen and through running a language club for children in her area in north London.

Rose and the other new stories were shown at a pop-up shop just off Carnaby Street in London. From Friday 14th June until Sunday 23rd June 2019 visitors could borrow a pair of shoes belonging to a refugee living in London and take a walk while listening to a first-hand story of their life.
