BBC Radio 4 - Short Cuts: The Bystander

William Genovese was just 16 years old in 1964 when his sister Kitty was killed in New York City. While he grieved for her loss, her name became synonymous around the world with a social psychology phenomenon called The Bystander Effect. Years later he tried to find out the truth of what happened to Kitty that night.
